With nearly 20 years of clinical and teaching experience in plastic, aesthetic, and burn surgery, he specializes in facial rejuvenation, eye and nose surgery, facial contouring, body contouring, and breast surgery.

Biography

Li Zhengyong is Assistant to the President of West China Hospital, Deputy Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery/Burns, and Director of the Congenital Malformation Group. He is a Chief Physician in the Department of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery at West China Hospital, a Doctoral Supervisor, and holds a PhD in Plastic Surgery.

He has been engaged in clinical practice and teaching in plastic, aesthetic, and burn surgery for nearly 20 years, focusing on facial rejuvenation, eye and nose plastic surgery, facial contouring, body contouring, breast plastic surgery, etc. He is committed to minimally invasive plastic surgery and has independently developed multiple minimally invasive surgical techniques that have been widely promoted within the field. He has been invited to South Korea and Japan for academic exchanges and visits on multiple occasions. He has led multiple national and provincial research projects, received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China multiple times, and co-authored one monograph. He has published more than 30 papers as first author in domestic and international journals.
